Petworth Cottage MuseumThe First Twenty YearsIn 2016 we were able to stage an exhibition to celebrate twenty years of the museum. Extracted from the Petworth Society's scrapbooks of cuttings, the pictures and transcripts collected here occupied three sides of the exhibition hall. Five years on we cannot stage another physical exhibition but we can show these cuttings here. Unless otherwise stated the cuttings are all from the Midhurst & Petworth Observer. 38 Old Grange
Legacy to Community Schemes Projects across the Midhurst and Petworth area are being given a boost in the name of the popular old Grange community centre. Five more schemes have received funding from the six-figure community grant pot set up by trustees of the Grange Community Association. The 'significant' sum was established with money raised from the sale of everything inside the old Grange before it was bulldozed. About £8,000 has been handed out after the latest applications.

Petworth Cottage Museum has received funds to help conserve textiles and increase the lifespan of the historic clothes on display and Petworth Lawn Tennis Club has been given a grant to buy table tennis tables to attract members to the club all year round. Applications are now open for the next round of grants. Forms can be found at www.thegrange.org.uk
